Scorpena bands are manufactured on the North American continent by the PrimeLine scientific and production association, which is currently regarded as a leader in research and production of underwater bands.

The unique physical properties of PrimeLine bands are due to high-quality raw materials (natural latex rubber) and a unique production process. Unfortunately, this process is lengthy and labor-intensive, resulting in a slightly higher price compared to bands made from synthetic rubber in China. However, these bands possess significantly higher user characteristics, notably their elongation limit and reactivity, or the speed of contraction.

Scorpena bands have a dual-component design: internally, they consist of semi-transparent natural latex rubber, while externally, they are coated with a thin layer of the same type of rubber (in properties), but dyed in a bright red color. This coating protects the band from the damaging effects of ultraviolet rays, preventing aging and extending its service life.

The new Scorpena RED bands are ideally suited for use as single-loop or paired bands on SCORPENA spearguns of any length.

The manufacturer's stated elongation limit for Scorpena RED is no less than 752%. The internal hole diameter is 3.25mm.
