Nirza Cup – More Than Just a Competition
The world of spearfishing competitions is going through some exciting changes! Traditional events are evolving into full-scale festivals for the whole family and local communities — and Nirza Cup is no exception.
This is the largest spearfishing competition in Latvia, bringing together more than 70 participants — an incredible turnout!
But it’s not just about the competition. Held on the crystal-clear waters of Lake Nirza, the event also offered a wide range of activities for everyone. Guests enjoyed delicious local food, relaxed in saunas and jacuzzis, listened to live music performed by local artists, and the kids had a blast with trampolines and entertainment from professional animators.
Events like this help grow our community and introduce more people to the world of spearfishing.
