Scorpena Tahiti fins are medium-length fins with an open heel, designed for diving.

The fin blade is made of two different materials, enhancing flexibility, comfort, and delivering a high level of propulsion. The central part of the blade, made from elastic rubber, forms a tunnel during the stroke, preventing water from flowing into the low-pressure zone (on the reverse side of the blade) through the side edges. This directs water towards the end of the blade, increasing the power of the stroke while reducing energy loss—a design referred to as the "tunnel effect."

The upper part of the foot pocket extends the blade, increasing the effective propulsion area. This allows for the engagement of the entire surface of the fin, enabling the development of greater power if needed, despite the fins' medium length. The force is evenly distributed across the entire blade, helping to relieve strain on the swimmer's ankle. Additionally, the fins feature streamlined stiffness ribs made from rigid rubber.

Special flow laminators, or flow channels, are present on the sides of the fin blades. These channels allow water, during the stroke, to transition from areas of high pressure to low pressure, creating laminar flow around the blade. This significantly reduces turbulence, meaning less energy is expended while swimming with these fins compared to fins without flow laminators. Therefore, swimmers can swim longer distances with less fatigue.

Scorpena Tahiti fins come equipped with a wide rubber strap that comfortably secures the foot in the fins. The strap attaches to the foot pocket using large plastic buckles. These buckles can be quickly undone to remove or put on the fins. Additionally, you can easily adjust the strap's length for a comfortable fit on your foot. The buckles freely rotate at their attachment points, enhancing comfort while swimming with Scorpena Tahiti.
